windows live mail

I have used a loaded Windows live mail found on a new pc and loaded all my contact from outlook express 6 and the mail as well .

I have set up all my accounts and recieve e-mail no problem .

The only fault seems to be that i cannot delete mail, when i select a mail in Inbox and read it and dont want it , i then click the big red X at top of screen and it doesnt delete , so i then right click and use the dropdown menu and delete and it still stays there .

I have clicked the box to delete items off the sever when clearing deleted items folder , but still cannot seem to delete any items .

Very confused would be very glad to hear of anybody that can help ,
