windows ME and Linx help

    First problem is that the computer was given to me so I know nothing about it. I see the sticker on the side saying it had WIN ME on it . Now when its turned on it has a linx program running called UBUNTU I think thats right. Do you think that Windows ME is still On here somewhere hiding? How do I find out ? I do not like this linx thing, none of my games work on it.

    Usually if a windows install is on the computer, the bootloader gives you a choice of booting windows or linux.

    I don't know Ubuntu very well; it runs gnome desktop and I'm not familiar with all the gnome programs. There should be a program called Nautilus. This is a file manager, similar to windows explorer. See if you can find something called menu.lst (that is an el not an eye) which might show if there is a hidden windows install on the hard drive.
    Did you get any disks with the computer? What is the brand and model?
