Your tutorial for Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal worked so well in removing several trojans on my son's Dell laptop (i.e. Startpage-DU.dll, about:blank, malware.q and probably others I did recognize) that I decided to run this routine on my older Windows ME based Dell desktop (which has slowed down significantly even though there are no signs of any infections). There was no option to boot up in safe mode with networking support as per your instructions. Am I missing something or should I run all of the scans in normal mode?

If Safe Mode with Network support is not available, go ahead and run the tutorial in normal mode.
