    Sucks.

The visualizations slow down my computer (Athlon XP 2500+, 1gb of ram, Radeon 9700 pro and it still chokes), and I'm unable to get it to not default to a fullscreen view.

The above don't bother me as much as this, however.

There is a link top right for online music vendors. When MSN is selected, you get this prety red X.

I'm not overly pleased with this release, at all.

It is nice to see they included MP3 ripping now, but with no VBR?

    Dumb.

Screenie 2, when i chose browse from the menu. It only works for that session, however. You have to choose another vendor to not see the red X again.

Well, I use iTunes, but IMO, MS really took a step back on quality with this one.

    A red X?

    WTF.

    What is it for?

Its for something they 'forgot' to put in.

Its an image placeholder, red X.

    See my screenie up above?

    Yup it plain sucks.

The last MS media player i thought was "ok" was 6.4. I dont have that REd Cross however, nothing is their on mine, the movies and TV one fills the space where your cross is.

And yes, the visualisations skip and jerk alot on my system too, plain sloppy programming i guess

Then again i just use iTunes for my iPod and all music stuff now.

I still use Winamp, but for some reason it keeps turning Hardware Acceleration off.... so I can't play my music. HOW ANNOYING!!
