   Hello
   
   I was wondering why recently Windows Media player 10 and 11 makes my laptop disconnect from the net when they are opened up?
   
   What is the cause of this, any ideas would be appreciated

   you could always try going to tools > options > privacy and taking the checks from all the boxes, or try Safe Xp.
