Windows Media Player problem - please please help

hi, i have been having prolems with my WMP lately so i decided to reinstall it, but when i try an do this i get this message an the installation stops...

does anyone how i can stop this from happening because i really need WMP, this also happens when i try to install some windows updates and if i try to roll back to WMP 9

This should help, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798 I would try renaming the Edb.log file first. It seems to solve it most of the time.

Cryptographic Services is set to disabled. <-- that was the problem.
