windows media player

please help, trying to burn cd's from my music folder. but when i open it, nothing comes on the audio file layout,. i'm using easy cd creator 4
by audiograbber. how can i copy and burn my cd's. when i double click the cd
in the music folder, they come up and i can play them but that's about it. i even tried to send file from that folder to my documents,still the same thing.

is the problem in easy cd creator or in the actual folder the music is in???.... if it is easy cd creator try downloading a patch from thier website... still didn't fix it uninstall the app and reinstall it....

 

make sure that you are looking in the right music folder. you might have 2. I have 2. 1 with music and 1 other stuff.

thanks, but i don't know, when i open the music folder in easy cd cre. there isn't
anything that comes up in the screen. but when i click 2'x on it, all the songs come up on a different window. i'll try and see if there is a patch!!!!

 

see if you can highlight the music in the second screen. if you can then click add and that should work.

there is another way to copy music to cd's. have you tried to use windows media player to copy the songs you want?

 

hi yes i have wmp 9, but i have no options like copy to cd . i made a playlist as per instructions. but nothing, went to microsoft window media site,. but just now i went into my easy cd creator 4 by adaptec and when i opened my music folder it came up in the layout screen, and when i went to drag it to down, it said that the title "at last" is an unrecognized extenstion?? so i check and that folder file is windows media audio file not an mps or wave. do u know how to change windonws media file to and mp3?? thanks again now at this

 

hi i went to the site to download an update but i couldn't get in. and i don't think it's for the problem i'm having. do u know anything about changing windows media audio file to an mp3. i think that is one of the problems. thanks again by the way have u heard of nero or roxio easy to create and burn cd's. thanks aganin

 

is the music you want to copy in your windows media player?

is it mp3
as for your media player 9 ( i use it to )
open WMP ( windows media player )
then on the far left side in the middle look for a tab with a arrow ( it will say show task bar when you move the cursor over it ) click it then click COPY TO CD OR DEVICE. then check or uncheck the music that you want to copy. then in the upper right hit copy.

as for your easy cd creator go to help then to easy cd creator basics that should help.

hi, don't think i'm crazy, but yes i have both. i always used creator 4, and burned cd's from music in my document's and they are mps. but now when i want to burn copies of my own personal cd's and copy them they are sent into a music folder. then when i try to burn the music they don't come up in the cd creator 4, message come up saying that the file has an unrecognized file extension. file has to be mps. went to check and the file is a windows media audio file, how do i change this kind of a audio file into an mps file, i think that's the propble. thanks again.

 

hi that's it i think, the cd that i copied is not an mp3 file, i just learned that wmp NO longer use's mp3 but wma,(windows media audio file) that's why my cd creator doesn't recognize it. how do i convert wma to mp3. good queston, right. and how do copy cd's with windows media player to be in mp3 format????? thanks

 

DBpoweramp will convert WMA to MP3 with the WMA codec installed: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ WMP10 will rip MP3 format as well as WMA format.
