   How do i get windows media player to open up my media instead of real player?

   Hi
   
   What Windows version do you have as there are a few ways to do this?
   
   
   In Vista and Windows 7 you can set the defaults for various applications using this guide (Vista) HERE
   
   or you can right click the media files that are opening with Real Player and choose Open With and then choose Windows Media Player and tick the Always use selected Program.... box , more info HERE

   In Real Player, go to Tools, Preferences, and select Content. In the "Media Type" section, check: "Make Real Player My Universal Player."
