Windows Messenger(IM) Keeps Logging Off!

    XP Pro SP2, PCTools FW and MSMSGS.exe is allowed, plus free Avast AV. This just started a few days ago out of the blue with absolutely no changes on my part. I log in and a minute or two later I'm kicked out and the icon has the red 'x'.

    Believe it or not, it just reconnected on its own as I type this but disconnected a minute later. :-D

    Oh, I have a good cable connection going through a router.

    Any ideas out there are very welcome.:)

    I finally installed Windows Live, what took me so long eh :confused, and all seems good now.:)
