Ok so I guess I moved way too many files while making a movie and now it freezes whenever I load it and then it crashes and asks me if I want to send an error report.

So I learned from my mistakes and will not EVER move files WHILE still creating.

    Lesson Learned.

So now how do I delete movie maker? It's NOT in my listen of programs in the add/remove program list in the control panel of my computer.

And THEN how do I REinstall it??

A fresh copy with no lasting mistakes...??

I have windows xp sp2 professional

    Please?

Officially, it cannot be removed and reinstalled. Of course, just because you cannot remove it doesn't mean you cannot reinstall it, right?

Unofficially, WMMV can be reinstalled by going to C:\windows\inf, and locating moviemk.inf.

Right click, and choose install. Follow any prompts that come up.

Other ways that may fix it for you:

    Reinstall Service Pack 2.

SFC /scannow from a command prompt. Make sure you have your CD handy.
