Windows Movie Maker crash.

I make movies from games I play, and when using WMM, some reason after about 3 minutes of editing and adding and what not, the program freezes up and must be ctrl+alt+delete to close it. I tried making a simple video that lasted about 20 seconds to see if that would work, but the program crashes while making the video.

Advice? I don't want to reformat, but I might have to.

 

I am having the same issue. Could it be that MM has some time limit thing we need to reset?

 

I'm not sure, I've made like 4 prior videos with no issues at all.

 

wow i'm having that exact same problem...don't reformat. i just did about a month ago and am having the same problem and have before i reformatted. i think windows movie maker just craps out after a while or something...i do not know.

 

I bought myself some video editting stuff which directly conflicted with movie maker. So maybe do a search for incompatible software with movie maker. It might be something else causig the conflict.
