windows movie maker issue

HI everyone. I have a issue w/ my WMM (ver 11) on win xp.
Here we go .. im having trouble saving my projects. I have 2 movies made but cant save them . now i did make a test move with the same pics and others that i thought was stopping it , but those ones went just fine .
the only thing i see differant from the test is in the length of the movie im making . the test clips where just a few clips (5-6) and the movies are 10 min long w/ full transitions and music.the music is not stopping it ether.
am i missing somthing to alow bigger movies to be saved?

welcome to MG's. try posting in the software forum you will get more replies in there. or just wait for one of the MOD's will come along and they will move your question to another forum for you....

update on my issuse.. I have been trying to figure this out and did notice that I have a fat32 filing system and herd this will add to my problems.
I tryed to save one of my movies and it started to save it ,but on the progess screen it said it had over 10,000 min remaming to down load!!!
wow i eneed up stopping it and then tryed to put it on a disc andit wouldn't load on that ether.
should i look into a seperate mov maker that windows or real time will read? if so what ones would be a good choice?

ok now for some reason I can get the vid to partialy get saved ! ive tryed it several times and each time i get some of the pics and all music .
I think its the media player now more than any codec 's or missing/ unreadable pics. it seams to lock up on the transitions and then just run the music.
any ideas to help me out here ?
