I need to make a slide show for my fathers memorial service, and don't have windows live essentials or Movie Maker on my new laptop. I have used it in the past to make slide shows and it was simple to use and free. So I went to DL it and MS stopped supporting it in January. Is there any other way to get it on my laptop without going through MS? I found an old installer on my backup hard drive but that's useless I think since MS doesn't support it. I've searched for other programs (apps) but none seem to be as straight forward and easy as Movie Maker. Any suggestions? Time is running out.

Thanks for your reply. I found Windows Live on File Hippo, and Movie Maker, though it's a little different than the one I was used to, seems to be working pretty good. Thanks again
