Can anyone please help with this problem which has started in the last few days.

Windows keeps reporting the following error message every few minutes.

    WINDOW - NO DISK
    Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c

I hit the cancel or the continue button and it immediately pops up for a second time . When I hit either button again it goes away for about 10 minutes and then repeats. It does this continuously until I close the PC down and of course it does it again when I start the PC up again.

I am running XP Pro with service pack 3

Hope someone can help with this it is annoying the cr.p out of me.

Are there other words behind this? I'm trying to figure out if it is losing your hard drive, or perhaps looking at an optical drive or a floppy drive and not finding a CD/DVD or floppy in place. For me to be able to determine what the computer is doing, I need to know the full sentence you see.

I think you are correct PLODR. He may be losing his hard drive. He didn't mention that he was reading from a CD or even had a CD loaded.

    Hi Guys,

In regards to the more info/words behind this. No there are no more words I posted exactly what the error message says. The message has only been popping up for about 5 days and I have not installed anything, either physical or software for a few weeks now.

I have no problems accessing my hard drive or my dvd drive. I have just tried my old 3 1/2" floppy but it is not working. I do not usually use it and have not used it since I build the PC 2 years ago. I will open the PC and unplug the floppy and see what happens and will post the outcome here when done. The message keeps popping up every 15 minutes.

    Thanks

    Craig

Problem fixed via another forum. Seems this is quite a common problem for several years.

This solution seems to have fixed it for me also.

Disable your floppy disk from your BIOS.
    How?

check this out...this is the easy way to solve that problem...just run "regedit" the follow this [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows] then find the name ErrorMode and change its value data by doing right click on the errormode itself and change value date from 0 to 2...

    it really works....

    thanks jhun11!! it does work!!
