    Heres the deal.

I have this computer that I need to install a modem in. The modem needs to be on com3.

The problem is the machine I want to install on is NT workstation SP6. It does not detect my modem. The modem does not have jumpers to force it to com 3.

When I try to add a com port the com port has an error that states this port is not enumerated by windows NT.

This is a us robotics modem.

I would appreciate any help you could offer.

    Thanks.
