Windows.old - Getting back programs?

Laptop is a Dell Latitude D830 running Vista 32bit

I had to use my recovery disc and reinstall Vista today (not a virus)

My HD still has all my files from my old install in a Windows.old folder

Any way I can use these? I'm mostly just concerned about bringing MS World 2007 over

 

No programs! Only Files such as documents , pictures and music , contact and favorites.

But programs have to be installed and are not modular by design in windows.

 

So there is no way to restore MS Word?

I'd just reinstall it if I had the CD, but it's a company laptop and the software was on it when I got it

Am I SOL?

 

Ok, other than MS Word, can I get back my FF profile?

If so, how can I do that?

 

You have to reinstall MS Word , but your Firefox profile will be in:
