Windows Protection Error

    I put a new 64mb RAM stick in and when i restart the computer in normal i get a meessage that says Windows Protection Error restart your computer, when i try to boot in safe mode in just sits on the windows start up screen forever. I took the Ram out and the computer said ram has been decreased so i know the computer found the Ram what the problem. It's 64MB UMB PC100 stick by apacer

    What windows do you have ??? did you tried with memtest?

    memtest test your memory and see s if its good in your computer or compatiable even a new ram stick can be bad
