windows repair help needed

I run net nanny on one of my computers and it locked it up today. It just kept popping up saying content watch has encountered a problem. I couldn't do anything. I wanted to uninstall it but it just kept restarting and taking 20 minutes to get back to the desktop. Anyway, I desided to do a repair install of windows but it keeps locking up with an error saying cannot find mixer.exe, look in ....The problem is, the pc is completely locked up. When I unplug and restart, I end up back at the same place.

Will it let you boot in safe mode

 

When it started with the original problem, I could get in safe mode but it took 20 minutes and clicking ok 20 times on the net nanny error. I was hoping to uninstall net nanny but it wouldn't uninstall. Since I started the repair, it wont boot at all. I changed my hard drive about 6 months ago. I am slaving it back in to ghost copy again. I will lose whatever I have done the last 6 months but atleast my pc should be up and running again.
