Windows Repair pre-repair log

Hi Geeks!

I was just recently given an old computer running Windows 7 version 6.1.7601 and am trying to get it in good running order to use as back up in case new laptop gets in a bad way for some reason. Of course I don't have any installation disks and the computer doesn't have a recovery drive. It does have Recovery Manager with files on a H drive, but says I still would need disks. It would be my preferred option to do a re-install (never done one though) but I am on a fixed income (am OLD) and I am trying to do everything manually and so I am learning more about computers than I want to know!

The computer runs and I can browse and play games and such, but it has errors I am working hard to fix. I downloaded Shane's (Tweaking.com) free Windows Repair tool and have run the options, sfc...clean, the disk check...clean, got rid of all the many malware pieces and a couple of viruses. Then ran the built in pre-repair scan and it shows errors I can't begin to understand or fix. It says to post here and someone might would look at it and advise me before I actually run the tool. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if you need further info and I will provide, only got down on the floor once to read all those product keys and IDs.

 

Ok, I am very sorry I didn't read the posting rules first. My apologies!

I got a message about downloading all the programs and have done that and have the scans. The only thing I could not do was download and install Malwarebytes. I have tried many times and followed the instructions about changing the file name. Will keep trying, but for now here are the other scans asked for.

This belongs in the Malware Removal section of the Forums and you should post the scan results in a new thread there. You may have to link to this thread though as you can't upload the same file(s) twice. Make sure to complete the final steps as outlined in the Malware Removal forum. If no malware is found by one of the experts there, you'll be referred back to the Software Forum.

 

Have done as you asked and posted in the Malware forum, thanks for the info. Sorry, I am a newbie on this forum and am trying to follow all instructions to the letter. I am hesitant about marking this thread closed as I don't know if anyone could see it because I linked to it or if I may need it again. Will do that as soon as someone tells me to if that is all right.
