Windows Search 4.0 released

    You using it Adryn? if so any good or major changes good or bad to report?

    I used it during the preview, and I have the final installed now. In Vista, its completely under the hood. Searches seem faster now, but...I've not paid a lot of attention to it. These days I am almost entirely in Linux, except when working on a project, or am in dire need of real power management (read: long battery sessions).

    Certainly haven't found any negative side effects, unlike Windows Installer 4.5 that broke the third party theme I was using.

    Cheers for the feedback Adryn, not paid alot of attention to WS4.0 as had other tasks to concentrate on, so didnt install the betas on this one.

    Getting it now to install.
