Windows Security Center

The line: "Change the way Security Center alerts me" in Windows security Center is turned off. How do I re-activate it?
I am running Windows XP PRO SP3. Will appreciate a step by step solution.

I think this is the answer you are looking for if not post back.
go to start >control panel> security center> in the left margin click change the way security center notifies me. then pick the option you are looking for (firewall, virus, or update) If I misunderstood you please post back

Go to Start/Run and enter Services.msc. Scroll down to "Security Center" and in the upper left hand corner click start the service

 

Thnks All. This problem is solved. Still have a warning on the taskbar:" No virus protection installed on your computer". The thing is that the Norton Internet Security is running and working. Any ideas how to get rid of this warning"
