Ok, I just installed Server 2003 on my web server (enterprise edition) and for some reason, I was able to log in as Administrator once, and now my password doesnt work any more? I've tried a password reset tool (Offline NT password editor) but that seems to make no difference.

    Has anyone got any ideas?

No caps lock, in fact it has capital letters in which are formed with the shift key... not caps lock. I'm trying resetting the password to blank now... I really don't understand. its not disabled or anything.

    Totally bizzare.

So you DID set a password at install and it worked once entering that password after reboot and now it won't accept any password? Have you set up another user account? If so, tried logging on as that account with and w/o a password? Did you create a domain? If so, in your advanced login props are you logging in to that domain? When you cleared the password, didn't you have to have your original password to set it to <blank>?

Odd... I have Win2K3 running next to me, if you have any config questions that I can check on that box, I'd be happy to look 'em up for you.
