windows shutdown not shuting down

i am haveing problems with windows shutdown

after pressing shutdown the screen gose dark and freezes

only things that have changed since this started is some new programs showing up when i press alt+ctrl+delete

dragdiag
loadqm
systray
rundll

dont no if these are a problem or normall?

if thats the problem how do i remove them if not eney other ideas?

What other processes are running?

 

thanks for that thats 1 thing i can rule out as the problem.

only other things running are explorer avgamc avgcc.

 

Does it shutdown ok from Safe Mode?

 

havent tryed it in safe mode .

it seems to have worked itself out shut down first time everytime for last couple of days
