Experiencing difficulties logging into golf advergame...Windows Socket Error (11001), on AP1 'ASync Lookup' Can anyone provide assistance.

Yes, I have. I use AVG Free along with Ad-Ware SE & Spybot.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.

CP is right, try McAfee AVERT Stinger 2.4.4 here, http://majorgeeks.com/download4063.html see what it finds. Then try and see if you get the error message.

If that doesn't work do an online virus scan here:
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

See if it finds anything. After running it try your golf advergame again and see if you still have the problem.
