    Good afternoon, Gentlemen.

    System:
    Homebuilt
Motherboard: ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition
    RAM: 4 x Kingston 2GB DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300)
    CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz AM2
    GPU: 2x BFGR88768GTXOC2E
    Audio: Creative SoundBlaster Titanium Fatality
    IDE: 2x Samsung SH-S202G
    HDD: 2x Samsung HD501LJ
    PSU: Thermaltake W0131RU (850W ATX12V)
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

    Background:

I just replaced the motherboard (with the same model,) because several of my capacitors failed. Once I resolved several errors with the BIOS and CMOS, Windows booted successfully. Something (Two programs, one from Creative,) automatically installed themselves, then I was advised that I must restart my computer for changes to take effect. Windows Explorer was having problems (the notification center on the taskbar was not displaying correctly,) so I restarted the PC. Upon Windows attempt to restart, I was greeted with a stop error.

    Error code:

    STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF880009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000, 0X0000000000000000)

    Objective:

Return the windows installation to working order without the use of system restore, preserving all personal documents, projects, and program installations.

    Corrective actions:

I am unable to enter safe mode without the stop error.

I have more than thrice attempted start-up repair.

I have attempted sfc /scannow, and was told "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation."

I've run chkdsk, and no problems were detected.

I have attempted to repair the BCD.

I have attempted to restore the MBR.

I have examined the BIOS, and my SATA controller is in SATA mode.

I have attempted the DISM cleanup.

I have used the FRST64 tool and it has given me the attached report.

Thanks, gentlemen. I'm pulling my hair out over here.

I usually think of 7B as a hard drive problem.

You are using an old win7 installation on a new motherboard of same model with no reinstall--correct?

A couple of things you could try would be check to make sure your SATA cable is snug at both MB and HD connections. Or possibly swap it out for another if you have one available.

Try setting your SATA controller to IDE to see if that lets you in. If it does then check Device Manager to see if you could be missing any drivers.

Via the WinRE, I have access to my HDDs and all data on them.

I do not have an IDE mode available. I wouldn't want to do that, anyhow, because my physical drives are on a RAID0 (mirror.)

    Thanks.
