windows start up screen hacked

Help! I am new here, but have a problem I just KNOW you can help me with! I saved an image to my pictures (2009 themed) and considered using it as my desktop pic, but when I put it there I didn't like it, so I found another picture I liked and set it to my desktop. Now when Windows (XP) starts up that picture that I had once considered comes up instead of the default Windows start up screen. The problem is, it takes FOREVER for my desktop to load since then. I deleted it from my pictures folder but that did nothing. How do I get rid of it and go back to my default Windows start up screen? I appreciate any help you can give me to guide me!

g'day blondie42550 i had a this problem once before so i did a search with the windows search program just check the box to search for pictures and video .scroll through and find the picture and delete from then list.the run ccleaner and scan for issues.see if that helps good luck
