Windows Update Error (Not reconizeing)

I get that windows update error at times. I just try later; it is an MS problem and not the computer. Later, I grab the updates without errors.

I've read elsewhere that MS's servers were an hour off yesterday. They probably didn't do the daylight saving time fix. So they could have been doing some work on the servers.

 

Make sure the ActiveX update for Win Update is installed and possible turn off the Firewall and check again with WU or goto

as mentioned at times the servers do go offline or in some areas become bogged down.
