My system fails when doing "Feature Update For W10 Version 1703".
It says "You can't install windows on a USB Flash Drive During Setup".
I am not trying to instally on a Flash Drive. I had an external harddrive and a printer in USB ports, but removed both and still get this message.
Googling I found that a registry setting should be 1 rather than 0, but when I checked mine was 1. All my updates prior to 6/1 and been fine.
    What to do? Thanks.

With the USB drive and printer disconnected, did you restart the computer and try Windows Update again?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control. Change the value of "PortableOperatingSystem" to 0.
