Windows Update KB2454826 causing BSOD?

    Another good reason to turn off automatic Windows Updates and to ensure that your system has fully updated drivers and anti malware apps; looking forward to seeing the full diagnostics on this problem.

    EDIT: MS page for the Update. It looks like it's a patch for the 2D and 3D graphics subsytems.

    It now seems that this patch has been pulled from WU pending further investigation.

    The whisper is that it's likely caused by a conflict with remnants of previously 'uninstalled' Symantec and Online Armor Free firewalls.
