    Hi,
Yesterday I download the new Windows updates, there were only 3,,, KB2913602,,, KB2913431,,,KB2862330. After that I did a full scan with my Anti-Virus program and it always takes around 25 mins to scan with ESET,this time it took 55 mins. to scan. Then I did a full scan with Malwarebytes and it always takes around 28 mins to do a full scan and this time it took 1Hr. 25 mins to scan.
So it had to be one of the Windows updates that was slowing down the scans,I uninstalled them, and the scans when back to the normal times. Progess of elimation and the culprit was KB2862330,for some reason this update slowed down my computer scans. Just wanted to give a heads up on this one to you guys.

    Windows 7

Try turning off ESET Antivirus and Malwarebytes real-time scanners and then install the update. After installation, turn scanners on again. There is a known issue with this update not installing correctly in the presence of antivirus software, especially ESET.

    Hi Rusty,
Well I turned off my anti-virus and firewall and download and installed KB2862330 no problems there. Then I did a full virus scan after I restarted my PC and it took 1 Hr. 27 mins. to scan ( way to long ). I uninstalled KB2862330 and ran another full anti-virus scan and it only took 27 mins. which is normal for my PC. That windows update does not agree with my PC,is this update really that important. I think it just updates USB Drivers, correct me if I am wrong.

Here's the explanation by Microsoft about KB2862330:
    Update: January 14, 2014
"This security update was originally released on October 8, 2013. The security update was rereleased on January 14, 2014, for computers that are running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. The rerelease addresses an issue in which one of the drivers of the USB 2.0 core stack is not updated in some specific computer configurations."

I can't find any specifics about the update, only that it is a rerelease that fixes issues with BSODs on installation. From what I read, this security update is applicable to only very specific computer configuration pertaining to a specific USB third party driver. Most likely you are using a generic set of Windows USB drivers (as am I). If that's the case then you don't need the update.
