When I go to WINDOWS UPDATES though my HELP AND SUPPORT CENTER in XP Home, why does it say:
    -----------------------
Internet Connection is Required - To view this page, you must be connected to the Internet. To connect to the Internet now, click Connect.
    -----------------------
When I'm connected via DSL and have been since LONG before I got the PC with XP.

I can (and have) gone to the Windows website to do the updates, but why should I have to? Why can't I do it from the H&S page in XP

    Can anyone help me?

    :)

I used to have ZoneAlarm, but now disabled and have a Linksys Router instead.
