Windows Update Site

Has anyone noticed any slowdown/hanging on the Windows Updats site, and other MS sites in general?

I have three computers (one newly formatted) that are hanging at windows update and all MS sites are terribly slow, like sub dial up speed.

After like 10 minutes, Windows Update loads and has scanned for updates. Then clicking on the different sections is painfully slow again.


Everything else loads like a champ.

On a 1.5 megabit connection.

 

On my sunday afternoon I couldnt get the main site to load.
Tried a few times and went somewhere else.
Today ( monday morning ) all seems fine .

 

I tried it at about 9am EST and it was kind of slow.

 

Just tried twice at 06:55 Pacific Time Zone (USA) and didn't notice any hangups or slowness.

 

Went to MS's mobile devices site at 9:45 EST Seemed flaky at first but by 10am it was zooming right along.

 

10:00 am central time , it is working ok here.
I am on dial up so it is slow anyhow, but no more than normal.

 

Good speed right now!!!!!!!!
