    Hi!

My computer, Windows 2000 Professional, performed the latest Windows update but during the installation process I am being asked to insert the Service Pack 4 into the drive. I do not have a SP4 and have never had one for this computer. Consequently, the little blue with yellow icon just sits on the task bar waiting for this function to happen but without the software package I will not be able to install it.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to work around this or where to get the SP4 software? Thank you.

Thank you kindly for pointing me to this url. However, I found that I already have Windows Service Pack 4 installed in my computer. What the update message is asking is for me to insert the *CD* of SP4 before it will be able to complete the updating process. I do not have the SP4 CD.

Am wondering if there is anything else I can do at this time as the download icon continues sitting in the task bar each time I boot up waiting to install the latest update yet I can't due to not having the CD. Thanks again for your help! It is much appreciated.
