Windows Updates

    I am trying to install the following Security Update for Windows XP (KB873339). And I keep getting the message, Updates were unable to be successfully installed.

    I have Windows Firewall on if that matters. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

    Yes, thank you! I looked to see if it was already installed and it is.

    Any idea of how I get the automatic updates icon (yellow shield) to go away from my system tray? Thanks.

    Nevermind, after going to the link you provided, I followed your instructions and the icon went away too. Thank you for your help Halo!
