Windows Updates

Being able to subscribe to a virus update thread on this forum is really nice for those of us who do not like to download them automatically.

Being able to get that email reminder that an update is ready and waiting is very nice.

I also prefer to not do Windows Updates automatically.

Was just doing some wishful thinking, wondering if there was a way to get an email reminder that a Windows Update was ready and waiting for me? Just curious if there was a thread for that also?

Doesn't MS typically throw updates onto the site the first Tuesday of every month? Correct me if this is not the case, but I seem to recall that's the way they did it.
