Windows Vista bad image error

every time i go to run a program like a game or even open windows help center i get an error message saying bad image: c\windows\system32\OPENGL32.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.



ive been trying for hours to fix it but im stuck :cry

any help would be great thanks!

 

Have you tried System Restore yet? If that's no good do you have a Vista installation disk or just a recovery disk/partition?

 

system restore dosent work because it wont let me activate and the error message pops up, and no i do not have any of the cd's vista came preinstalled

 

If Vista hasn't been activated it isn't being updated either, so could be seriously vulnerable to malware. Have you been able to do any AV scans at all? And how long has it been in this non-activated state?

 

Helloo umm windows vista is validated fine its just the. .ddl files are broken and it won't let me access and fix them, would upgradeing to windows 7 fix the problem?

If you do, then you may be able to restore your machine. And, if this is a purely Windows problem, then yes: a Win 7 upgrade would most likely improve things.

 

Umm I can't do the recorvery to a later date its been delted and only after I removed the malware and trojans this startef happening

 

And all the problems are windows DDl files
