Windows Vista screen all black wont startup?

Right after the load bar shows up for the vista screen the users pop up then you can enter vista. But for me after the load bar is done loading it just goes black and you cant see anything not even the cursor. I tried system restore it work but then when i restarted the computer the same thing happen.

Im able to load onto the safe mode with no problem which Im currently using to write this. I tried running spybot and it showed 2 problems I fixed it but it obviously wasn't the problem since it still happend after i restarted.

Also sometimes a screen shows up saying there may be a hardware or software problem windows couldnt load correctly what would you like to do and it gives me the option to start windows normally or to run the windows system thing that fixes the problem. Tried both and both still didn't do anything.

 

Any errors showing in your device manager?

Under Administrative Tools in the control, any items in the event viewer?

What peripherals do you have connected?

You did a system restore prior to the problems?

What anti virus and other security are you running?
