I have been having problems with my laptop for some time. Initially it was Microsoft visual basic C++ runtine error R6002 :floting point support not loaded.& a DLL error C:\user]acer\appdata\local\temp\rpcqt.dll :specific module could not be loaded. I dont know what started it.But i got those fixed by a cousin of mine. So they dont appear on start up any more. But i dont think he cleared everything. Because a lot of the problems i had are still there. Here is a list. And all of them started with these two errors:
    1. Sometimes a blue screen appears saying dumping physical memory. and the laptop restarts.
    2. Sometimes before windows loads, there appears an error saying No bootable disk found, insert boot drive and press any key, and windows itself doesnt load. But if i restart the laptop a few times, the system starts working normally.
    3. The screen hangs a lot.
    4. A lot of the time windows load in repair mode. Even though i shut the system down properly.

I posted this in the malware forum. But i was told that it seemed like a software related problem. [http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1765003#post1765003]

Didn't find any malware in your logs either. The symptoms you are describing are typically associated with hard drive failure and maybe even intermittent memory failure.. I would recommend backing up your important data now before it is too late.

Do you have the logs from the Blue screen(s)? You can .zip them and attach them here for others to review (to help us determine what caused the crash).

They are typically in this folder: c:\Windows\Minidump
    They have the .dmp extension.

This BSOD, to me, suggests that aswMBR.exe caused the crash. I don't believe Kestrel had you run this.

    Code:
    PROCESS_NAME: aswMBR.exe

    DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL (c5)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is
caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool. Run the driver
verifier against any new (or suspect) drivers, and if that doesn't turn up
the culprit, then use gflags to enable special pool.
Do you have any other BSOD logs? This one was dated back on the 15th of August.

I assume you've had kgldrpob.sys removed and have been given the all clear since this crash?

You can run the file collection app from here (follow the instructions there but attach the files back here please), if the zip is too big, split it into 2x zip files and attach both.

That crash looked like it was a bad driver at fault but the overall description you give is more puzzling.

    @thisisu:
No Kestrel didnt have me run aswMBR.exe. When the DLL and the Visual Basic errors had initailly occured i had asked my cousin, to handel them. Whatever he did removed the errors on startup. But the rest of the symptoms remained. I assume he also ran a aswMBR.exe, beacuse its file is still there on the desktop.

There have been crashes after 15th August, but this is the only file that was there in minidump folder. There were no other files.

The kgldrpop.sys was related to running Gmer.

Given the number of 'cracks' etc. removed earlier in the month, many things could be contributing to this. I would wipe/reinstall and rebuild with clean software.

There are many hardware diagnostic tests you could run to rule out hardware problems: http://www.carrona.org/diag.html
