Windows Vista Transformation Pack 5.5 Qestions

Hey I am thinking of downloading Windows Vista Transformation Pack 5.5, but have some questions. When I download it, is it just a theme or is it a actual OS upgrade? If I dont like it, how would i uninstall it? Thanks in advance.

 

It is not an upgrade, some have had good luck with it, i cant say the same. ed

 

I installed it... and now can't get it completely uninstalled.

I learned my lesson... won't be installing that one again.

 

I am a big fan of the shell packs (Bricpacks) over at crystalXP. Very shnazzy.
Never had a prob with any of them.

Advice: read the about Bricopacks at bottom of the page, it's only a very short instructional which will avert tears.

 

I had it but it got annoying; doubled my shutdown time, slow startup, rebuilds the icons on every startup (maybe just for me?) Didnt really like it although it did look really nice....I just got a Vista skin which looks almost the same but its just on the cosmetic level

 

I also have had nothing but grief installing these packs. Piece of crap IMHO. Try getting the real thing if you have a good connection. It's freely avalable from MS. Just follow the rules of a Beta install, and also back up.
