Hey folks. Just went to turn on my Del xps410 desktop running Vista, and it decided not to start up/load. Windows Repair wasnt able to fix the issue, and upon checking out the details, it mentioned Hal.dll was corrupt (only stated that a couple times, other times say it wasnt able to figure out what the problem was).

I don't have a backup disc, so I'm not able to go that route. Any suggestions on how i might be able to fix this without reinstalling windows?

    Thanks!
