windows vista

    hi there,
    this is my first time here so i'm not quite sure how these sort of things work :( it's just i'm needin some help acctivatin my copy of windows vista ultimate 32bit
    as i bought a copy off ebay and i never recived the acctivation code and i got a msg the day sayin i have 2 acctivate it as my 30 day period is up and i don't have the code and i don't wana loss my work :( pls some 1 help me i would b so greatful if some1 could tell me an activation code! :)

    Activate it online. There is no code for them to give you.

    If you bought the OS without a key, or bought a pirated copy, then you wont be activating...

    Maybe you could go to Ebay to file a complaint against the seller for selling illegal copies.

    i did get bk in touch with ebay and they say the guy that sold it 2 me was fake just like the copy of vista and they couldn't do anythin now :( so i lookin for the acctivition crack

    your best options are to backup your data asap and install a legit windows version you have or buy a legit licence from MS for Vista as you can enter that legit licence key in the System info page at the Change Product Code link in Vista.

    or as Adryn likely was refering to, contact MS and report the seller and who knows if the counterfeit DVD and packaging is a good copy in comparison to the originals its not unheard of for MS to give you a licence as you were likely duped into this being a legit copy..... but its nevr a guarentee that MS will give software free sadly in cases like this.
