I moved my computer to another room and it will not boot up to Windows 98s. It will boot up to safe mode, and I can shut it down, but it will not come up in normal. I checked the boards inside to make sure they are tight. I ran scan disk. I am lost I do not know what else to do. Please help

Did you add anything new when you moved it? Keyboard, printer, etc?

When you say 'safe mode', does it actually say 'safe mode' in the 4 corners of the screen, or does it just 'look' like safe mode with big icons & 16 colours? I only ask because it seems to be a common mistake when people describe their problems. What happens when you try to reboot normally? Does it give any sort of error?
