windows wont activate

    today i install the windows xp sp2 but it wont activate when i put the key it keep saying that the key is invalind something like that
    what should i do because i have 30 days left to activate it

    Call the number listed ......to obtain activation key ...sounds like a bootleg copy of xp ....bummer. That or else your just not putting it in correctly ...sometimes can't even read my own writing!!:) :)

    Depends ...did you purchase the computer with the operating system and disk from a dealer? Did you purchase the disk with an install key? If you can convince them that you purchased them in good faith ...maybe not ...at worst they will offer a reduced price to give you a key.

    i just got the cd from some1 that i saw when i went to a trip to the bahamas
    but he gave me a key it work at the begining of the installation
