Windows XP driver for Optorite DD1203

    I bought this DVD burner used. I know bad idea. But when it is loaded, Xp loads it as a generic drive. It burns okay, but the porblem is with Studio 9. On long burns with Studio 9 video freezes. They say to update firmware. I cannot do that because Xp does not have it listed as Optorite DD1203. I have emailed them 5 times now. There has been no response. I would like to try and fix this problem with out having to buy a new driver. Please some one hlep.
