Windows XP Explorer (yahoo game user)

HELLO : 6-18-04
When ever I play an ONLINE Yahoo game at their website (Card games) :
I get 2 Explorer Icons on bottom task bar.
One is for the game open and one is blank.
AFTER I CLOSE EXPLOROR down, the one disappears off of task bar as it should.
BUT the other one just stays there ---- and when you click on it repeatedly -
NOTHING happens.
YOU have to hit the 3 finger salute combo to bring up the task manager (AND there it says it is running -- > Explorer).
And highlight it and hit CLOSE for it to dissappear...
ANY IDEAS if this is a JAVA Problem or WHAT ?
Daughters XP computer does the same.
Computer literate here and BOTH machines are CLEAN of EVERYTHING....
NO virures or spyware or whatever.....
Appreciate it if you have any Ideas...
I am leaning toward maybe something has to be turned OFF somewhere in Explorer
