I have Windows XP Firewall and SP2. Should I stay with this Firewall or try one of the free ones like Zone Alarm?

Is it okay to have more than one Firewall on the same computer? Thanks for any help.

MS firewall is ok at stopping incomming data BUT it cannot stop outgoing data packets which may virii, spyware etc use so if you've inadvertantly been affected by a nasty it will be able to contact its master as the MS Firewall will not alert you to outgoing packets of data.

SO yes a firewall like ZoneAlarm Free, Outpost Free, Sygate Free will help you against any programs that want to access the internet without your permision.

    Yes only use 1 firewall,
