Windows Xp home and my digi camera?

    Xp home used to upload my pics from my Canon camera, now it is asking me for the Canon disc??

    What did I do?

    I hate the Canon software, it's a pain in the ass.

    Because it needs the drivers for the camera if you have not loaded them before. If you have, then possible corruption issue.

    But it's been working fine all this time without the Canon software installed!

    Now it asks for the Canon disc.

    That's what I don't understand.
