windows xp is corrupt

started my pc bios loaded fine then when windows started to load it said
windows could not start because the fallowing file is missing or corrupt
\windows\system32\config\system

u can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup
using the original setup cd-rom
select r at the 1st screen 2 start repair

i have raid setup i never did a repair on raid can some one help me fix this prob.i tryd once b4 to run repair in january and it would not let me do a repair
so i had to reinstall windows and lost all my data


a8n-sli deluxe
2x 120g seagates
2x 6600 gts

 

Probably a corrupt Registry.

do i need to load my raid drivers also

If it doesn't say that, then don't.
