windows xp license key retrieval

Ok, I have two windows xp pro licenses and 2 cd sets, but one of them is a toshiba cd set and it installs a bunch of AOL junk that I don't want to have to remove from my computer again, so I was wondering if there's a way to get the product key off the computer before I format and reinstall so I can use the normal XP cds. Is there a way to do this or will I have to use the toshiba cds again?

 

I don't know about using a key on a different CD but to retrieve your XP Product Key from the hard drivel, use the freeware app. Rock XP and download it from here:

I'm pretty sure the other disks will work, they're the OEM ones that weren't customized by the vendor, so they were cheaper, but essentially what you get if you buy the boxed version of xp pro. If they don't work I can just use the toshiba ones anyway...
