Windows XP Logon

    I can not remember the password to log on to XP. How do I get rid of it entirly. I can't get into control panel because I can't log on to begin with

    If XP home, then, reboot into safe mode, then use the "administrator" account. Then go to control panel and remove the password via the users applet.

    If XP pro, CTRL + ALT + DEL (two times). Then use "administrator" as the user name, then press the "enter" key as the password (default). :(
